Our Commitment
Heidler, Inc. has invested a significant amount of resources to help ensure that its website is made easier to use and more accessible for people with disabilities.
This site is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) Level AA. That includes verified colour contrast on text and interactive elements, semantic heading structure, keyboard-navigable controls, descriptive alternative text on images, and labelled form fields.
Ongoing Work
Accessibility is not a one-time exercise. We audit this site's accessibility as part of our regular quality checks and address issues as they are identified.

What We Have Implemented
Specifically, across this site:
- Text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratios, verified by measurement rather than assumed. Where a brand colour failed as body text, we introduced a darker variant rather than shipping it.
- Every page uses a single H1 and a logical heading order, so screen reader users can navigate by structure instead of reading linearly.
- All content images carry descriptive alternative text; purely decorative images are hidden from assistive technology so they don't add noise.
- Interactive controls are reachable and operable by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator, and the navigation menus close on Escape.
- Form fields have persistent visible labels rather than relying on placeholder text that disappears on entry.
- Link text describes its destination, so a list of links read out of context still makes sense.

Emergency calls outside those hours are returned as quickly as we can get to them. You can also text that number to request service, or visit us at 208 Taylor Avenue, Annapolis.
We will take your details, answer questions about services and pricing, and book work over the phone exactly as we would through the site. No part of what we offer is available only online.
