What Happens When You Call
- A person answers. No phone tree, no queue. You describe the problem to someone who can actually book the work, and during an emergency they’ll talk you through shutting off water or gas while a truck is dispatched.
- We schedule a real window. You get a specific arrival window rather than an all-day range, and a call ahead when the technician is on the way.
- You approve a flat price first. The technician diagnoses the problem, explains what they found, and quotes a firm number before any work starts. If you’d rather not proceed, that’s fine — there’s no pressure and no obligation.
- We finish and clean up. The work gets tested in front of you, the site is left the way we found it, and you’re told plainly whether anything else in the system needs attention soon.

Common Questions
- What areas do you serve?
- We serve Annapolis and all of Anne Arundel County, including Severna Park, Arnold, Edgewater, Crofton, Gambrills, Glen Burnie, Millersville, Odenton, Pasadena, Severn, Bowie, and Stevensville across the Bay Bridge. If your town isn't listed, call us — we cover more of the county than the list suggests.
- What happens if I call after hours?
- Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Outside those hours, leave us a message about the emergency and we will get back to you as quickly as we can — it reaches our own Annapolis office, not an out-of-state answering service.
- How does your pricing work?
- Flat rate, always. You get a firm price before any work begins, so you know what the project costs up front rather than watching an hourly meter run. That applies to emergency calls too.
- Can you come out the same day?
- In most cases, yes. We hold capacity for same-day service across Annapolis and Anne Arundel County, and genuine emergencies — burst pipes, sewage backups, no water — get dispatched immediately.
- Are your technicians licensed and insured?
- Heidler, Inc. is a Maryland Master Plumber licensed company, fully insured for general liability and workers' compensation. Every technician is background-checked before they set foot in your home.
- What should I do before you arrive for an emergency?
- Shut off the water — the fixture valve for a single fixture, or the main shutoff where the supply enters the house for anything larger. If water is near outlets or the electrical panel, cut power to that area at the breaker, then call us at (410) 268-7191.
